At Trevalco we calculated our scope 1 and 2 emissions for the first time. These concern the GreenHouse Gas (GHG) emissions due to direct combustion and to the use of electricity.
In 2023, compared to the reference years 2018 – 2020 we found a reduction of almost 50%. Which is a great result.
This reduction is mainly due to:
- the electrification of our fleet
- increase in popularity of bikes for daily commutes
- hybrid working
It does not stop here. We have set up a sustainability plan with clear goals for 2030, regarding scope 1 and 2 emissions these goals include:
- Annual reporting of the emissions, internally and on our company website.
- Reduce scope 1 and 2 emissions by at least 80% compared to the reference years.
- Reduce the number of company cars with a combustion engine to less than 10% of our fleet.
